On December 26, Tibet Julong Comprehensive Project Department of Haian Rubber Group Co., LTD was formally established and inaugurated in the site. Zhu Zhenpeng, vice president of the group, Zhu Laishui, secretary of the party branch of the group, and all project department personnel attended the ceremony.

Vice President Zhu Zhenpeng delivered a speech at the ceremony, congratulated the establishment of the project department, expressed condolences to all the builders, and put forward hopes and requirements for the next phase of the project department. Project Introduction

On December 27th, Zhu Zhenpeng, vice president, and Zhu Laishui, Secretary of the Party Branch, were invited to attend the completion and production ceremony of Tibet Julong Copper Co., LTD (hereinafter referred to as "JuLong Copper"), a holding subsidiary of Zijin Mining. As the largest copper mine project  in China's high-altitude area, Julong Copper owns the mining rights of Qulong Copper polymetallic mine, Rongmu Cuola Copper mine and Zhibula Copper polymetallic mine in Tibet province, with 10.72 million tons of copper and 570,000 tons of associated molybdenum；Qulong copper deposit and Rongmu Cuola Copper deposit are the same porphyry copper deposit, and are currently applying for merger of mineral rights; The mine, which will be renamed Julong Copper Mine after the merger, is the largest world-class porphyry copper deposit in China with substantial low grade copper resources of around 0.2% and a total resource (0.15% boundary grade) of over 20 million tons.The beneficiation system of Qulong Copper Mine of first-stage project was put into production on December 27, 2021 after joint trial at the end of October, smoothly realized the overall goal of completion and operation by the end of 2021. After first-stage project,including the output of Zhibula Copper mine, Julong Copper is expected to produce 120,000-130,000 tons of copper in 2022. First-stage project will produce about 160,000 tons of copper per year. At present, Julong Copper is carrying out the overall plan of mine development, focusing on the comprehensive development and utilization of low grade resources, and plan to implement second-stage project and third-stage project. If the project is approved by the relevant government departments, it is expected to achieve an annual ore extraction capacity of about 200 million tons, making it the largest copper mine in the world.
