Well-known mining company in the Americas has selected 27.00R49 and 33.00R51 Luan HA-162 off the road tires for its Cat 777B, Cat 785C rigid dump trucks.

Haian's sales manager and professional technical engineer made a site visit to follow up the performance of the giant tyres.

"We had up a Cat777 in the haul road during our visit. Its longest cycle distance which is over 23 km", said by sales manager Mr.Jimmy. The long working distance and overspeeding of Cat777 are the big challenge for the tires because of heating problem. The standard compound of the tires helps to reduce the heating problem and risk. And the casing reduces heat building inside the tyre, resulting in lower fuel consumption, higher efficiency.

After checking the condition of roads, most of roads are maintained in good condition. But some parts are not flat,small parts of road are muddy.

Tire running performance is very good in general. "We suggest the Gold Mines take some measures for truck speed control, for the benefit of both tires and for truck. Most surface mine take some strick measure for truck speed control. For example, Some coal mines have truck speed limit policy, for main haul road speed limit 35km/h, for branch road speed limit 25km/h, for turning road speed limit 10km/h," said by Mr.Jimmy.
